Product schema is the single most citation-impactful markup for a Shopify store. It lets AI assistants answer 'what does this cost?' and 'is this in stock?' without scraping the page. Critically, it also lets them cite the product in comparisons.
Include `offers` with `priceCurrency`, `price`, `availability`, `url`, and `itemCondition`. Include `aggregateRating` if and only if the rating is real and up to date. Fake or stale ratings are a fast way to earn a negative-sentiment cite.
