Entity Recognition

A retrieval model's ability to identify the specific thing a page is about — product, person, place, organisation.

When a model reads your site, it builds a map of entities and their relationships. Correct entity recognition is what lets it answer 'what moissanite rings does Acme sell?' instead of 'there are many moissanite rings'.

The signals are structured: Organization schema with @id, Product schema referencing brand, consistent naming, sameAs links to external knowledge bases (Wikipedia, Wikidata, Crunchbase). Each one nudges the entity map toward yours.
