Brand Authority

The degree to which AI models treat a brand as a primary source for its category.

Brand authority is the compound-interest metric of GEO. Sites that are consistently cited become more citable — models see their presence in other pages' citations and reinforce the association.

Building authority takes named experts, primary research (even small), and sustained publishing in a narrow lane. Breadth dilutes; depth compounds.
